Lindsey Stein is a Boston-based oboist with a dynamic career spanning orchestral, operatic, solo, chamber, and professional studio performance. Originally from Florida, Lindsey earned her undergraduate and multiple graduate degrees from The Boston Conservatory, where she received intensive training in historical and contemporary performance practices—from Early Baroque through 21st-century repertoire. ​ Active throughout New England, Lindsey has performed with a wide range of ensembles, including the Boston Pops, Mass Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, Narragansett Bay Symphony Orchestra, NEC Preparatory Orchestra, MIT Symphony Orchestra, and the Cape Cod Chorale. She also serves as the standing Oboe Faculty for the Youth & Muse Boston International Music Festival. ​ Recent highlights include serving as principal oboe and English horn for The Irish Tenors and Celtic Woman, performing traditional and crossover Irish repertoire on tour across the Northeast.
